A new app designed to let passengers on a yacht control everything remotely from their iPad appears to have caught the eye of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. The rap mogul and his family are trying out the technology on the pleasure yacht Solemates, an $850,000 a week vessel that is the first such ship in the world to use the application, CNN reports.

The software was created by a the German luxury yacht firm Lurssen, and provides passengers the ability to have total control over many of the ships functions, from moving the steering wheel to raising and lowering the blinds to adjusting the level of light in the cabin. The app can even be customized on a passenger-to-passenger basis to suit individual preferences.

However, the chance to use one of these luxury apps certainly does not come cheap. Ruper Conner, who owns the company that leases out the Solemate and other yachts, told the news provider that most ships equipped with the technology are at least $690,000 a week, plus expenses, which are typically at least $150,000.

The furnishings are hard to beat as well. Along with an aromatherapy shower, the yacht is replete with LCD televisions, jacuzzis and even has a gym.

Diddy, his girlfriend and their two children will not only be treated to cutting edge technology but top-of-the-line service as well. Their yacht has an expansive crew, Conner says, that can cater to their every need.

"We've an amazingly experienced crew which includes a chef who's worked in some of the best restaurants in Paris and England, a stewardess who speaks five languages and another who is also a cardiothoracic nurse," he told the news source.
