Eddie Vedder marries Jill McCormick in Hawaiian Ceremony

Eddie Vedder has something new to sing about – the Pearl Jam frontman just married his longtime love, Jill McCormick.

According to US Weekly, the rocker and his model girlfriend exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii this past Saturday. Included among the 70 guests were actor Sean Penn and musician Jack Johnson.

Vedder proposed to McCormick last year in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center Honors Gala. He was in town to pay tribute to Bruce Springsteen. The couple has two daughters together – Olivia, 6, and Harper Moon, who will be 2 this Thursday.

This is the second trip to the altar for Vedder, 45, who was previously wed to musician Beth Liebling for six years. It was in 1994 that he spoke with the Los Angeles Times about his thoughts on marriage.

"Relationships can be tough. There are times – I end up putting a lot of time into this music thing. I don't sleep at night. I think I'm probably a very difficult person to deal with," he told the news outlet.

Vedder has been the lead singer and guitarist for Pearl Jam for the past 20 years. After the release of their debut studio album, Ten, the band went on to garner both worldwide audience and critical acclaim.

Pearl Jam is still going strong – the grunge group just wrapped up a month-long U.S. tour that ended at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They were also a musical guest on Saturday Night Live earlier this year.

The band is also set to celebrate their 20th anniversary at a charity concert with Neil Young this October 23 and 24. Proceeds from the Bridge School Benefit show will be donated to the Mountain View, California schools for students with severe disabilities.
