Kutcher may replace Sheen on Two and a Half Men

Multiple sources report that Ashton Kutcher is set to replace Charlie Sheen on the TV series from which Sheen was fired after a much-publicized feud between the actor and the show's producer.

People Magazine reports that the deal would signify a "huge payday" for Kutcher, 33, who Tweeted about the possibility of starring on the show.

Kutcher sent a Twitter message with the question, "What's the square root of 6.25?"

That may have been a way for the actor to humorously confirm that he will be starring on Two and a Half Men, or 2.5, which is the square root of 6.25.

Ashton Kutcher, who is married to actress Demi Moore, became famous through the television series That 70s Show. Since then, he has work on a program called Punk'd, in which famous people are tricked into believing far-fetched scenarios concocted by Kutcher. The possibility remains that the announcement could be a joke from Kutcher.

CNN has reported that Sheen earned $2 million per episode of Two and a Half Men. Thus, Kutcher may be making much more than $2.5 million soon, if he ends up starring on the show.

Kutcher has recently been seen on the big screens in movies such as No Strings Attached, with Natalie Portman. The movie portrayed two friends who enter into a sexual relationship hoping to avoid intimacy. Kutcher's personal life is not as embattled as Sheen's, but he has been the subject of infidelity reports in the past.

Charlie Sheen was a popular trending topic throughout much of this past spring, often due to his outrageous claims and proclamations of grandeur.
